Background

Taprite-Fassco manufactures is a global soda and beer equipment manufacturer and a preferred supplier to the world’s most well-known soft drink and beer brands. After a large hail storm went through San Antiono, Texas Cima Contractors was hired to assist Taprite Through the insurance claims process by proving direction to the insurance carrier, ( scope of damage and detail estimates) and final roof construction.

Approach

Cima Contractors removed the old roof system down to the deckiof the building and added new ISO insulation improving the buildings energy efficiency envelope that meets state and city code requirements. Next Cima installed a new modified bitumen high-performance roofing system using an enhanced special base and cap sheet providing a total membrane thickness of *215 mils. The base sheet alone is used as an effective vapor retarder that provides high tensile strength and excellent dimensional stability.

Due to the widespread and intensity of the hail that fell at the property the AC systems also suffered substantial damage and was part of the insurance claim. Cima Contractors replaced the coils in each of the systems adding years of service life.
